Eminem life was hard growing up he lived in a trailer park with his mom on 8 mile in Detroit. He was always picked on and got into fights when he was growing up. When he went to school his favorite class was English because he liked words and like to learn knew words. But he always got picked on and beat up by other kids at school so he didn’t do that well in school, so he had dropped out of school when he was in 9th grade age 14. So after that he tries to become a rapper and he started at clubs. One night when Marshall or Eminem was rapping Dr.Dre saw he rap and he had saw something in him, he singed him to a record deal. He stared making songs and records at the age of 14 but didn’t become famous until the age of 18.

The Shocking Event
When it was about 2005 Eminem tried to overdose on drugs and he almost killed himself. The paramedics found him lying on the floor and he was unresponsive. He was so close to dying but he served it. Then he had to get some help so he can stay clean, he was gone and out of the music business for about five years. He returned back to his music five years later and he had made two cd’s on the time he was gone. But before he could come back he had to learn to how to rap again because he forgot to. But Marshall did it he learned how to rap again and he’s back and stronger then he was. I think Eminem is more famous today then he was back when he started.

Eminem had tough time and a hard life but he showed everyone what he can do and what he loves to do. He showed us his life and what he had to go through to get to were he is today in his life. He is one of the best rappers today and I think in history too. New York Times call him the king of hip hop. Eminem taught us to never give up on your dreams and keep on going for it because if you work for it you can make your dreams to come true. Eminem is and was and still is one of the best rappers in the world today. He was born on October 17, 1972 (age 39) Saint Joseph, Missouri his origin is Detroit Michigan. His birth name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III. He lived in Detroit for most of his life and he also had a hard life growing up to. But he wanted to become a rapper and that was hard for him because he was white and nobody think that a white boy could rap at all.

First Starting Out
When Marshall first came out being famous no one believed that a white person could rap be he had proven them wrong . He started to become known and people started to like his music. When he becomes famous people wanted to know his life story so what had happened is in 2002 they made a movie called 8 mile. The movie was about Eminem’s life and how hard it was and how he had lived in Detroit. He had also stared in his own movie and he played himself in the movie 8 mile.
